Investigators may order a website blocked, with no penalty for visiting it.
Deliberate access to a prohibited site, account or system is an offence.
Using a telecom service without right is an offence. (the law text, Arabic)
AFTE identified at least 549 websites blocked in Egypt from 24 May 2017 to June 2020, from news sites to proxy and VPN services, and blocking varies by network (AFTE). Install your VPN from the App Store or Google Play and pick one with obfuscation.

"Not confirmed": PIA's server list did not load as readable text, so we could not check it. Whether a listed location is a physical server in the country or routed from elsewhere is not stated by every provider. Prices are first-term prices on long plans and change with offers.
